Sunday Service Ringing Times
We welcome suitably experienced visiting ringers* to join us for service ringing.
Morning Ringing 09:00 - 09:30
We ring for the 10.00 service. We normally start at 9:00 after the 08:00 service has finished, please enter the tower quietly if the service has not quite finished. We ring until 9:30 when we make way for the music group to get set up in the church.
Evening Ringing 17:30 - 18:00
We ring for Evensong at 18:00.
On the second Sunday of the month we usually, but not always, attempt to ring a Quarter Peal. If you are planning to visit us on a second Sunday then its best to check with us first. See the Contacts section.
If you are a visiting ringer*, or perhaps a member of the church* wanting to understand a bit more about the bells then please get in touch so that we can help you get the most from your visit to the tower.
* All visitors to the tower are required to sign a Child Protection attendance register.
Christmas and Easter
On Christmas Day and Easter Day we ring at 7:30 for Communion at 8:00 and then at 09:00 as for Sundays above. Again, best to check with us first.
