St George's Christian Centre was designed and built to meet a requirement to serve the expanding Church and community in Ashtead.

Opened in April 2001, it is the result of many years planning, consultation and work to ensure that the Centre meets not only the current needs of its visitors but those of generations to come.
 

As part of St George's Christian Centre, St George's Church holds a number of weekly services and congregations with a capacity of over 350 seats.

Equipped with a large staging area, built in audio visual system, wireless Internet access, comprehensive lighting and a 4 meter retracting video screen, the venue is well suited to a range of concerts and staged events.
 

The Centre has a fully equipped kitchen offering excellent catering facilities. Serving counters open to both the Hall and the Cafe areas and have hot and chilled food services.

St George's Cafe is open to the public from Monday to Friday serving tea, coffee, snacks and lunches. It is used as a meeting point for a number of groups and individuals.
 

 
The Hall is finished with a beamed ceiling and oak floor and is equipped with moveable staging, wireless Internet access, audio visual and lighting facilities. It is designed with complete flexibility to accommodate all manner of activities both formal and casual.

The Hall and Cafe can be integrated or partitioned according to the function requirements.
 

There are four meeting rooms.

On the ground floor the Quiet Room is furnished with sofas and is suitable for a small meeting and the Parish Room can accommodate up to 40 people.

On the first floor the Upper Room is ideal for seated groups of up to 20 and the Roof Room seats up to 16 people.

There are tea and coffee points servicing the rooms and a number of toilet facilities throughout the building.

Seating, tables, audio visual facilities and wireless Internet access can be provided in the meeting rooms to suit the occasion.
 

St George's Christian Centre has been designed to include full accessibility for the disabled. Facilities include a fully touch operated lift to the first floor rooms, ramp access to the main doors, disabled parking bays and disabled toilet facilities.

There are induction loop systems in the Church and the Hall to assist those with hearing aids and signing is available on the third Sunday of the month at our 11am Sunday service.
