9.15 Sunday Service at St. George's

The 9.15 Sung Communion service has at its core liturgically based reverential worship. The choir is an important asset that assists this, but the depth is in the sharing of communion, the teaching, and the fellowship. The aim is to give a welcoming oasis of peace and joy, to encourage participatory worship and to support friendships.

Our mission is to provide reverential worship, focussed about the communion, supported by a flexible choral framework and a loving & caring fellowship.

Our desire is to bring in our friends and neighbours so that they too may know the love of Christ and worship God as part of the wider Christian community, and help to develop our mission to make Christ known.

We run a supervised group for children aged 0 to 11. The group meets in term time, apart from the 4th Sunday of the month, when children will stay for the whole service. Please come to the Upper Room at 9.10am, the children will then join their families later in the service for communion.
